About Branson Pottery

Chris and Julie began creating their unique pottery together under the name Branson Pottery, an amalgam of their respective middle and surnames. Chris crafted the pieces while Julie added a variety of floral designs using vibrant underglaze techniques. In 2007 Christchurch department store, Ballantynes, sold their wares in their New Zealand Gifts section. Pottery took a back seat for Julie when she began composition studies and completed a PhD in Music while Chris continued to fine-tune his ceramic craft and develop his own decorative techniques.
